I was surprised when I logged into my router the other day and saw a notification "IPv6 is available from your ISP, enable it?" It's been over a decade!

So now, this blog is available via IPv6 as well! As a kid, I was setting up 4to6 tunnels that would tunnel IPv6 traffic to IPv4 hosts that didn't have support. At the time, I was only interested in having a vanity hostname on IRC. It's pretty neat, not having to deal with NAT^W though. Also, that my network interface card can pull multiple IPv6 IPs, and the linux kernel does that automatically.
